Action Portraiture | Boat Pictures on Lake Michigan

Last fall I was contacted about the possibility of doing boat portraits out on Lake Michigan. The person who contacted me wanted to give her friend an action packed portrait session as a gift for Christmas so we worked out the details and came up with a gift
certificate she could give him to unwrap. This past weekend we finally had the opportunity to go out and do the portrait shoot with this incredible Cobalt boat on the lake and as you can tell by looking at the pictures it was a blast!! We met up in Saint Joseph Michigan and did the shoot off of Silver Beach next to the pier. It had been raining all morning but the weather cleared just before we started the shoot and I think the calm waters and dark skies in the distance really made for some great pictures!
