Eric & Jessicas Wedding and Blue Dress Barn Reception

Eric and Jessica had an incredibly beautiful wedding reception at the Blue Dress Barn this July. The weather was perfect and the Blue Dress Barn was as charming and beautiful as always. When we first arrived at the barn we had a few minutes to do portraits

with the bride and groom before the wedding reception began so we took some pictures behind the barn as well as on the big deck by the main entrance to the barn. While many people love to talk about how great this venue is because of its charming

atmosphere, I personally love the light!! There simply isn’t a bad time to take pictures at the Blue Dress Barn and it is one of the few venues I’ve ever been to that just continues to become more and more beautiful as the light fades in the evening. Every time I shoot here I

am reminded of the commercials you see that talk about “pure michigan” and this venue lives up to that saying, you simply can’t find a more rustic or beautiful venue in the countryside in Southwest Michigan! One of my favorite parts of shooting here is taking

the couple outside for some quick portraits at the end of the evening, we only spent a few minutes shooting outside but look at the variety of images we were able to capture! You simply must love the soft warm light that is being given off by the decorative lights

all around the barn! All in all this was an incredibly beautiful wedding and I am so grateful that Jessica and Eric not only allowed me to be a part of their wedding day but gave me the time and freedom to capture such beautiful images of them! If you
