Sneak Peak :: Jay & Jackie’s wedding in Saint Louis

I’ve known Jackie for about as long as I can remember, we grew spending the summers in Michigan down the street from one another, and our families have always been connected at the hip so when she asked me if I’d be willing to travel to Saint Louis and shoot her wedding of course I said yes! While I love shooting weddings normally this was a particularly fun one because my entire family was there… my sister was one of the maids of honor, my brother flew in from DC, my parents were there, and of course my wife and 2 kids were there too!! It was a beautiful day filled with wonderful moments and at the end of it all you just had to wonder… could 2 people be any happier together? I doubt it! Congratulations you guys!

    Uncle Jim - Mr Photographer!
What a great video. Not quite as much fun as being there but close. Loved the use of their wedding dance song as the background music. My favorite part… Jackie and Banks coming… coming… coming down the aisle, a pause in the music, then Jay smilin’ at his bride. You timed that perfectly.
I’ve shared this with several friends and they think you are GOO-OO-OOD! Fantastic.
And great to see you, Ben – Jim (thanks for putting me in)

mark stover - Beautiful work from you again Ben! What did you use to create this fantastic slide show??

budha - great pics but the slide transition was super awkward. too fast. too random. took away from the pics.

Ben - Totally agree on the super awkward way to fast transitions… unfortunately I just couldn’t cut any more photos (I probably could but didn’t want to) AND I wanted to stick with their first dance song. Ideal no… but in the end this was meant more as an overview of the day than a finished product. Of course I were to actually do this for a client I think you’re right, I’d probably have to come up with another song or fewer pictures so it would be easier to watch. Glad you liked the photos, thanks for taking the time to comment!!
