Beach Engagement Photos | Saint Joseph Michigan

A couple of weeks ago I had a chance to shoot some beautiful engagement photos by the beach in Southwest Michigan. The engagement session took place in Saint Joseph and only lasted a couple of hours but we had a great time and in spite of some

threatening skies we didn’t get rained, YAY! One of the things that never ceases to surprise me about doing wedding pictures and engagement photos on the beach is how much of a roll the couple and the weather play in the out come of the shoot. A beach

is essentially a blank canvas for a photographer to work with and so the couples personalities really seem to take center stage… sure it’s a beautiful location but this location is all about being togther and in love and whether you have blue skies, golden

sunsets, or crazy weather you’re bound to get something special of the two of you together! As I’m sure you can tell from the pictures Emily and Jeff just love to have fun and we had a blast taking pictures all over the beach, in the water and on the board

walk! I think if it weren’t for the fact that it got dark we probably could have just kept right on going but of course all good things must come to an end and at least they’ll have all sorts of engagement pictures to take home and share with their family and friends!!
