Engagement Photos in Southwest Michigan

What do you get when you cross a happily engaged couple with a crazy photographer and a lumber yard… why beautiful engagement photos of course!! Actually, funny story, we were in Sawyer Michigan taking these photos in no joke… a lumber yard

when the owner of the lumber yard pulled up in his pickup truck. I’m pretty sure someone called him to let him know there were some mischief makers wreaking havaock “out back”. Anyway you can imagine his disbelief when he pulled in and found out we

were doing engagement photos in his lumber yard!! He was really nice about it though and said we could keep shooting, hopefully I can stop by and show him a few of my favorites some day! Of course we didn’t limit ourselves to the lumber yard, we


managed to make it down to the beach for a few engagement photos as well! I can’t Wait for next June when I’ll be photographing Jackie and Jays wedding in Saint Louis Missouri underneath the magnificent arch! How fun will that be!
