Chicago Engagement Photos: Lasalle St Downtown

You may remember this Florence and Gerry from one of my posts a couple weeks ago, I shot the first half of their Chicago engagement session on North Avenue Beach in Chicago. Well our second stop was downtown on Lasalle street in the Chicago Loop.

Lasalle street is a popular location for wedding parties and engaged couples for portraits on the wedding day or during engagement photo sessions because of the tall buildings lining the street and the fact that the street dead ends at the Lasalle Bank building which makes for a dramatic backdrop in the city!

If you’re planning to do engagement photos in downtown Chicago the Loop should definitely be on your list of possible places for portraits. If you end up coming here for pictures don’t forget to take advantage of all the great alleys and surrounding side streets which also offer neat backdrops for portraits!
