Chicago Engagement Photos | Millennium Park

This week I met up with Kara and Brian to shoot Engagement Photos in Chicago’s Millennium Park. Anyone who is familiar with downtown Chicago knows what an amazing place Millennium Park can be for engagement pictures, there are gorgeous
Engagement Photos, Millennium Park, Chicagogardens, beautiful sculptures, concerts, sky scrapers, Michigan Avenue, and people… did I mention people? Yes… while there are some incredible places to take engagement photos in Millennium park you need to be prepared to share those places with lotsEngagement Photos, Art Institute, Millennium Park, Chicago, Engagement, Photographerand lots of people! Of course the right camera lens, a unique perspective, and some patience can do wonders when it comes to hiding the crowds! One of my favorite things about Millennium Park is it’s proximity to everything. If you are recently engaged andEngagement Photography in downtown Chicago on Michigan avenue.Engagement Photo, engagement Pictures, Chicago, Art Institute, Downtown Chicagolooking for a place to do your engagement pictures starting off at Millennium Park is great because you’re also on the Magnificent Mile, next door to the Art Institute, and just a block from Buckingham Fountain and Lake Michigan!! Being close to so many greatEngagement pictures at the Art institute of Chicago downtown.locations for photography means you’ll spend less time traveling from one location to another and more time shooting! As you can tell from the pictures we had an incredibly beautiful evening for taking pictures and although there were plenty of people out
Engagement photos, Millenium park Chicago, by the bean.Engagement Photos Chicago North Avenue Beach.enjoying the park with us we managed to get some really beautiful pictures. We started off in the gardens at Millennium park, then crossed the street to shoot by the fountains at the Art Institute. We stopped for a quick shot looking down Michigan avenue before wrapping up our millennium park engagement photos with a few shots by the bean sculpture. Once we were done shooting at Millennium Park we caught a cab and went to North Avenue beach where Kara and Brian changed into something a bit more comfortable. We then took some really fun pictures by the boat house and overlooking the Chicago Skyline! While hanging out with Kara and Brian was a blast one of the highlights of my night was when two kids rode by on their bicycles in the dark and yelled “hey man you should really use some external lighting, trust me, I’m a photo major!!!” =) Too funny!Chicago Skyline, engagement photos at night on North avenue beach.Lucky for me I had my trusty “external light” in the form of a Canon 580EX II which I was triggering wirelessly from about 20 feet away on the beach and was able to finish the shoot with this beautiful picture of the skyline. All in all the evening was just incredible and I want to thank Kara and Brian for allowing me to have so much fun dragging them all over, I hope you guys love the pictures as much as I do!
